This identity is for a gallery in Barangaroo, Sydney, that pays homage to Margaret Olley, with a permanent exhibition of her work along with temporary exhibits of other Australian artists, and houses a gift shop, cafe and toilets.

The personality for the design matches Margaret’s - open, colourful and with a sense of humour. The gallery logo incorporates Margaret’s painting ‘Winter flowers’.  The ‘painterly’ quality of the logo is representative of Olley’s style. 

The outdoor signage was designed to be seen from the other side of the harbour, and is backlit at night. The entrance sign and wayfinding design incorporate the illustrative and colour elements of the logo.
